My name is Maud Pelmelay. I am a Dutch-Moluccan photographer and director working across image and film. My work centers on vulnerability and intimacy, often exploring the complexities of identity.

With a strong background in video production, I move between digital and analog photography, creating work across editorial, portrait, and fashion. Alongside my photographic practice, I direct visual projects ranging from short-form videos to music videos, as well as documentary work.

I approach each project as a collaboration between subject, story, and image. Through my work, I aim to bring forward layered, often underrepresented narratives, captured with care and intention.
